E3: Star Wars: TOR goes free-to-play up to level 15

Star Wars: The Old Republic is going to be free up through level 15 starting in July. Tempting players to advance further is a pretty substantial update. There will be a new playable race, the feline Cathar, who you might recall helping out or murdering on Taris. A new world will be popping into existence as well, Makeb, where players become embroiled in a Hutt Cartel conflict. A hopefully murderous HK-51 assassin droid companion is being added to the roster, perfect for Hutt murder. The increased level cap should offer more time to get to know the fella.

A new Flashpoint, Terror From Beyond, the Space Station Assault space battle, and nightmare difficulty mode should spice up PvE a bit. Meanwhile, fans of PvP can slaughter each other in a new warzone.
