E3: Legend of Zelda HD teased for Wii U

Recommended Videos

Destructoid just left the Nintendo press conference, with tons of video footage to post for those of you who want to missed the live stream (or just want to watch it again). I’m sitting with Jim Sterling, Chad Concelmo and Hollie Bennett, and we’re all completely floored, and a lot of that is because of the Zelda HD mock up footage running on the Wii U.

Like the Space World demo of Legend of Zelda Gamecube of old, there is absolutely no indication that thi mock up will ever become a “real” game, but for now, we can absorb this message — Zelda HD will happen, and it will look f*cking awesome, and you’ll be able to hold it in your arms and cuddle it all night if you so choose.

More to come as soon as we can get it.
