Big Huge Games showed off a tiny bit of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and it looks pretty good already. “A Hero is reborn … to hunt his killer … and change the fate of Amalur” the trailer said. And from the looks of it, that is done with hacking, slashing, and lots and lots of spell casting.
You’ll also be able to grab enemies from afar, do killing animations, and fight big bosses. Supposedly the game potentially offers up to 100 hours of gameplay, and having Ken Rolston (The Elder Scrolls), Todd McFarlane (Spawn) and R.A. Salvatore (a writer!) on board won’t hurt either. I’m looking forward to this one!
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is scheduled for 2012.
