Konami is publishing Puddle for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade later this year. Puddle was the winner of the 2010 GDC Independent Games Festival, Students Showcase division and created by six french students.

It’s a physics-based puzzler in which you rotate the screen to guide a puddle of fluid through levels. These puddles come in different types of fluids that have their own properties, and it’s up to you to manage things like friction and momentum to guide your puddle to victory without spilling too much of it.

It looks creative, and should make a great addition to PSN and XBLA. It also sounds a lot like Fluidity on WiiWare, doesn’t it?
