E3 BREAK!: Chrono Trigger/Winnie the Pooh fan art

Recommended Videos

Look, working during E3 is a fantastic experience. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. But it gets exhausting. Sometimes you need to take a break and focus on something else for a second — a nice distraction to help you relax and take your mind off all the stress.

For me, that was this fan art combining Chrono Trigger and Winnie the Pooh. (You can view the full piece in the gallery below.)

As most of you know, I am obsessed with both Disney and the Super Nintendo. So seeing Robo as Winnie the Pooh and Crono as Tigger (get it? Chrono Tigger!) is kind of too much for me to handle. If someone else decides to do an art piece turning Samus Aran into Princess Jasmine I may very well fall on the ground and die from happiness. Yeah, it would be a dramatic and ridiculous way to go, but what a great story you all would have to tell your friends!

According to devinatART artist SongbladeX (the creator of this piece), she hasn’t even played Chrono Trigger — her husband dared her to create this fan art. It is that randomness that makes me love the art even more.

What do you think? Was this a nice break from the influx of E3 news? How cute is Piglet Lucca?

NOW BACK TO E3!
