E3: Angry Birds coming to consoles courtesy of Activision

As spotted by The Escapist, a promo reel shown off at the Activision E3 booth included a small hint at the publisher’s involvement with Angry Birds. While nothing has been announced formally, a nearby company rep did offer a brief confirmation.

“We’ll have some news for you in about two weeks. Wait until you see Angry Birds on consoles in HD.”

Considering how inevitable the release of Angry Birds on consoles has felt for years, at this point, it sure has taken a long time for such a project to come to fruition. Do we even care at this point? The general public clearly will, but what about you?
