E3 10: Warren Spector talks Epic Mickey

Recommended Videos

Think about this: Nintendo didn’t just march out one of the most iconic characters in the history of media onto its press conference stage in Mario, but they then backed him up with Mickey Mouse. I don’t think you could march out any two bigger icons onto one stage. That’s pretty much like having Michael Jackson open for The Beatles.

The point being is that Epic Mickey looks awesome, and the behind the scenes video above only fills you in on why it is probably going to be so awesome. Mad props to Warren Spector in general, but he is doing something amazing with this game as well, and the story seems incredible. Mad props to Disney as well for allowing him to take a risk with their icon and multi-million dollar brand.

Think it’s just a bunch of talk or is Epic Mickey going to be literally epic? There is a correct answer to this question.
