Child of Eden, the spiritual sequel to Rez from designer Tetsuya Mizuguchi, has a brand new E3 2010 trailer … and I don’t really know what is going on it. But that doesn’t matter when it is so gosh darned pretty!

What I do know is that the game will be played on Microsoft’s Kinect and allow the player to use their body and experience their senses. I don’t know about you, but I LOVE using my body and experiencing my senses. I also love anything Rez-related, so this game is totally for me!

The trailer is nothing more than a series of flashing, colored images and beat-heavy music, but what more can you ask for from the man who created Rez?

My opinion of Kinect completely changed after the Microsoft Press Conference. I now see the device’s potential, and this trailer for Child of Eden really gets me excited about the different kinds of gameplay Kinect could offer.

What do you think? Does Child of Eden look as relaxing and hypnotic as it does intense and chaotic? Is that even possible?
