E3 10: Sonic runs a lot in Sonic 4, that is a good thing

Look! It’s Sonic 4 in action. Is it everything you ever dreamed it to be and more? Is every single jump and spin like music to your Sonic-lacking eyes? Clearly, this is what we’ve been crying for all these years. Does it live up to your impossibly high expectations?

Maybe you’ve seen trailers for it before, and the on-the-floor stuff ain’t your bag. Then let me direct you toward our preview of the game, which may answer many of the questions I just asked about it above.

It seems the retro love is definitely warranted, but who knows for sure. All I know is that when Sonic wags his finger in that opening screen, I’m a kid again sitting on the floor with my brother in my parent’s basement … God, that carpet was ugly.
