Sony has finally announced a release date and price point for PlayStation Move. Motion control for the PS3 will debut in Europe on September 15th, followed by a North American launch on September 19th, and finally a Japanese release on October 1st. A single wand controller will cost $49.99, and the “Navigation Controller” (i.e., the Move’s “Nunchuk”) will run you an additional $29.99.

Two bundles will be available as well. For $99.99, you’ll be able to get a bundle including the Move’s Wii Sports clone, Sports Champions; a PlayStation Eye camera; a Move wand; and a disc full of Move demos. All of that plus a PS3 will cost $399.99 — so you’re not saving any money if you get the PS3 bundle.

At this price, is PlayStation Move something you’re interested in?
