E3 10: PlayStation Move gets moving with Sorcery

Recommended Videos

Our initial reaction to the PlayStation Move has been all over the map, just like all the gamer reactions out there: will Sony’s answer to the Wiimote actually be any fun? We got a better look today during Sony’s E3 press conference, and you can see some screens from Sorcery, the first game shown today using the move technology, in the gallery.

So, what were my first impressions? Well, it looks okay. Imagine if Fable and Lair were screwing, but then Fable cheated on lair with Folklore and Lair totally made out with the Wiimote, you’d pretty much have Sorcery. We saw some gameplay that included swinging the Move controller around, as you would imagine. Could be good, but we’d like some hands on time with it before we truly give our impressions. Look for those coming soon. Sorcery will be available Spring 2011, so you’ll need to wait a while before you can do your best Gandalf impression in your living room.
