Golden Sun was one of the best JRPGs for the Game Boy Advance, and a pretty great one all around. And now there’s a Golden Sun game for the DS, newly subtitled as Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.

It’s pretty impressive from what’s seen so far, and also a little bit traditional. Turn-based combat, towns, dungeons, and all those things people thought modern JRPGs were trying their best to kill off. There’s a cool cell-shaded look about the whole thing, as well as some obligatory touch mechanics for puzzle-solving.

Expect to see it this holiday!
