E3 10: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn out this holiday season

Recommended Videos

It’s been almost seven years since we last had a Golden Sun game, but our wait is finally over — Golden Sun: Dark Dawn is set for a Holiday (i.e. probably December) release on the Nintendo DS.

Dark Dawn is set 30 years after the previous two games, and you’ll be playing as the descendants of the original heroes. The PR for the game makes it sound like a standard Golden Sun game: Djinn hunting, dungeon exploring, monster fighting — pretty much what you’d expect from Golden Sun. Since this is the DS, you’ll be getting touch controls added in as well — you’ll be able to use the stylus to move your characters, issue battle commands, and use your Psynergy to solve puzzles on the world map.

We’ve got screens below, so take a look at them and let us know what you think.
