E3 10: Crytek’s 360-exclusive Codename: Kingdoms unveiled

Recommended Videos

Just like last year, Microsoft pulled the “everything you see after this point is exclusive to Xbox 360” card, except this time around, they did it very early on. One of the first things teased was a new partnership between Microsoft Game Studios and Crytek, the studio behind Crysis 2, for a game called Codename: Kingdoms.

The short video showed warriors outfitted in gladiator-like armor walking slowly toward the camera; it looked a lot like the screenshot you see above. It’s not clear what kind of game we’re talking about — perhaps a third-person action game? — but we know it’s not a Kinect game. Keep your eyes on Destructoid for more from the Microsoft press briefing and E3.
