E3 09: Fallout 3 ‘Point Lookout’ DLC looks vastly different

Recommended Videos

It’s been some time since Bethesda dropped info on its plans for the future of Fallout 3 add-ons, but the company has finally given us the first batch of screenshots for “Point Lookout.”

Coming to Xbox 360 and PC on June 23, as well as PlayStation 3 on an undisclosed date, this latest DLC looks radically different from the barren Capital Wasteland we’re accustomed to. “Point Lookout” promises to be the most open-ended piece of content yet, and pits players in a swamp-infested, titular beachfront town.

As you can see in the screens and trailer (after the break), the new enemies are going to be creepy as f*ck if you get lost in the swampland. As for the new weapon, it’s a double-barrel shotgun, and yes, there will be new perks and Achievements.
