E3 09: APB gets a 2010 release date, screens, and a trailer

All Points Bulletin is a game I’m sure most of you have heard about, but few have witnessed. You know, it’s been so long, I cannot for the life of me remember if I’ve seen actual in-game footage before; if I have, it was most likely really early on.

The Realtime Worlds/EA (under the EA Partners program) project is super ambitious, but the long wait seems to have paid off. Not only does the end result have a great, distinct art style, it looks to be massive. Maybe not MAG massive, but massive nonetheless.

While the new trailer (check after the jump) is hot and all, I’m almost more interested in hearing about the technical side of APB. Tell me more about the game’s persistent online multiplayer nature, RTW! It’s coming out in “early 2010,” so you should have plenty of time to get cracking.
