This latest trailer for Dead Space entitled “Loved Ones” (which can be found after the break) is the creation of Saw director James Wan.
It’s not every day you see a film director delve into videogame trailers, but Wan says he’s a “massive fan of space horror stories” and that he was “blown away by the cinematic visuals and philosophy behind [Dead Space’s] story.”
The trailer itself does a fine job of showing off the game’s creatures without revealing too much in the process. Whether it be a movie or a game, monsters are almost never as scary once you get a good look at them.
