Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale has a plot and here it is

Hard to imagine coming from a franchise whose traditional product offerings are rooted in the concept of telling stories, but there’s an epic tale of good and evil being told in Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale. Okay, maybe “epic” isn’t the right word for a story about a couple of dudes climbing a tower to beat up a green (allegedly evil) guy. But it’s the story we’ve got, dag nabbit.

If you’ll pardon me for geeking out a second, I was never terribly interested in Forgotten Realms as a setting for Dungeons & Dragons. Apart from being inexorably drawn to Ravenloft due to its reliance on classic monster tropes, I was always more of a Dark Sun or Gamma World sort of dude. But I do like co-operative action games, which this will be, so I’ll give it a play.
