Dune Awakening‘s early access is now live as of writing, but many players are running into a “No Servers Found” error preventing them from creating a new base.
The error doesn’t pop up like a typical message. Instead, you’ll find that there’s no server to join, which is necessary if you want to play a game. Thankfully, there’s an actual fix from the official sources, so keep reading the guide.
How to find No Servers Found error in Dune Awakening
Two major causes for this error have popped up in Dune Awakening. Thankfully for players, there’s a working fix for both.
- There’s a chance that Steam didn’t download the day-one patch (estimated to be 3GB), which is necessary for you to play and enjoy the game. If that’s the case, just restart your Steam client. The client should automatically download the latest update, which won’t take long, irrespective of your internet speed. Once the download is complete, wait for the files to install. After that, you should be able to find all the joinable servers and select one that applies to your region.
- You’ll have to change your region if you have played during the earlier beta tests. The beta tests had their beta regions completely separate from the full launch. To do so, click the Change Region button from the main screen and select the appropriate region. This will allow you to join a fresh server, and you can continue to enjoy the gameplay as usual.

That’s all you have to do to find servers and start playing in the early access. Aside from official servers, you can also rent and share a private server with your friends. The private servers are expected to be available very soon after launch, and they have some key differences from the official ones.
The MMO is now out on early access for those who own either the Deluxe or the Ultimate Edition of the game.
