Dtoid TV Weekend: Katamari, wrestling and PixelJam!

Here’s what we’re up to this weekend on Destructoid’s live streaming channel!

It’s time to begin another wonderful broadcast day over on Dtoid TV, and we have a delightful weekend lined up for you. It starts right now as Jordan Devore and I check out the week’s Xbox Indie demos and take a trip to the Dafoeverse before we settle in and get our roll on with some Katamari Forever

And that’s just the tip! Johnny Luchador will be bringing the smackdown in WWE ’13, presenting “The St. Valentines the Black History Month Massacre” (this is — literally — what is written on the schedule; your guess is as good as mine). Crux will be saving the Lylas system from Andross in the original Star Fox on The Sunday Show and Jonathan Holmes will sit down and chat with the gang from PixelJam. And this is a relatively light weekend for us!

Come join us for all the live goodness going on at Dtoid TV!

Here’s our full schedule for the weekend:

All times are Pacific

SATURDAY

10am – Saturday Morning Hangover
Get your coffee, shake off the Friday blur, and hang out with Conrad, Jordan, and Katina as they jump into the “wonderful” world of Xbox Live indie games.

[Ease the pain from the night before with a little schadenfreude as Destructoid’s Conrad Zimmerman, Jordan Devore and the lovely Katrina play the week’s Xbox Live Indie Games demos and beg for death’s sweet embrace.]

8pm – Substituted Reality
Who needs to be up in the club when you can hang with AwDamn? Tune in tonight as he digs into the free-to-play shooter, Offensive Combat

[Destructoid’s only PC-exclusive gaming show, Substituted Reality showcases a wide variety of games with a particular focus on first-person shooters. Hosted by the lovely, off-beat, AwDamn.]

SUNDAY

1pm – Sup, Holmes?
Come hang out and join in on the conversation as Jonathan Holmes interviews amazing people from all sides of the gaming industry. This week, he’s joined by Miles Tillman and Rick Grillotti of PixelJam, developers of Glorkbot.

[Join Destructoid’s most lovable Associate Editor, Jonathan Holmes, for interviews with his friends in the game industry. Participate in the live chat and get your questions answered]

3pm – The Sunday Show
Get back to the good old days this afternoon with Crux, as he rocks the classic title, Star Fox for your retro viewing pleasure.

[On The Sunday Show join your host, Dr. Crux, as he plays through a variety of games, ranging from retro classics to new releases. Come for the gameplay, stay for the snarky banter. Dr. Crux is not a medical doctor.]

6pm – Rad Show: Get There!
Johnny Luchador and his new co-host Jumpin’ Jason pop in WWE 13 and engage in what can only become legend: “The St. Valentines the Black History Month Massacre”

[Starring Johnny Luchador, Super Fantastic Videogame Rad Show: Get There! takes a lighthearted approach to gaming, with the guys usually focusing more on breaking games for ridiculous results than accomplishing feats of skill.]

8pm – Substituted Reality
Come by, hang out, and close out the week with a bit of the ol’ social as AwDamn fires up Half Life 2, and continues a full playthrough.

[Destructoid’s only PC-exclusive gaming show, Substituted Reality showcases a wide variety of games with a particular focus on first-person shooters. Hosted by the lovely, off-beat, AwDamn.]
