Dtoid contributor Ian Bonds likes making musical parodies

Recommended Videos

Ian Bonds is a name you might have seen pop up a few times here on Dtoid. He’s been a contributor for a while now, submitting reviews for games that might have slipped through the cracks. What you may not be aware of, however, is that he is also Insane Ian, a comedy geek musician who likes to write parodies of contemporary and popular music similarly to “Weird Al” Yankovic. You can check out some of the videos he’s released over on his YouTube page and website.

Above is “Skryim,” a parody of… Rebecca Black’s “Friday.” It was clearly made for kicks and giggles, but I think he captured the awkwardness of the original almost to well. For more variety, I direct you to two of his earlier numbers, “Bob-Omb” and “Guitar Hero,” embedded after the jump.
