In light of the Prince of Persia Wii announcement, a few of us on Destructoid were debating whether or not the Wii would succumb to the same fate as the GameCube. While some of us believe the console will see several quick and dirty ports that won’t compare to their PS3 and 360 counterparts, several of us still have enough faith in developers to believe that eventually the Wii will be blessed with a large library of games built specifically for the system from the ground up. Whether or not this will be the case is something only time will tell. One thing’s for sure, though … there isn’t going to be a lack of games for either the Wii, or its cousin in concept; the DS.
