DS TV? Sure enough, Japan has thought of it

Recommended Videos

If Japan can conceive of a peripheral for the DS, it likely exists, hence this kooky new TV tuner for the DS. It releases on November 20th for the Japanese market at a price of $6800 yen (about $60).

No more details are available at the moment, but even this tidbit sets my mind twirling with possibilities. Is a Tivo DS adapter simmering in the mind of a Japanese man as we speak? Could I record and watch Heroes on my DS? Or would it only transmit Japanese television signals, therefore forcing me to watch only Otter Acrobatics As Performed By Harajuku Lolitas?
