Dropkick Murphys to join Kanye West at Call of Duty XP

If Kanye West doesn’t float your boat, perhaps you’d be more interested in hearing that Dropkick Murphys will also be playing Call of Duty XP. The punk rockers will be joining the hip-hop superstar at the event, taking the stage at 8:00pm on September 2, the day the event kicks off.

“With an unbeatable lineup of real-world and in-game experiences, Call of Duty XP was already poised to be an historic event for fans of the franchise,” said Activition’s Eric Hirshberg in a press release this morning. “The addition of Dropkick Murphys just makes XP that much more memorable. Few bands fit the bill better-we’re thrilled to have them performing on opening day.”

I’ll be attending Call of Duty XP with Hamza next week, so look for full coverage from the craziest get-together this side of the Gathering of the Juggalos.
