DreamHack EIZO Open is this weekend, stream for free!

The first stop in the staggeringly large StarCraft II tournament DreamHack Open is this weekend. The event will take place in Stockholm, Sweden this Saturday and Sunday and will seat over 2,300 zerglings people. Stockholm is the first of four events which will eventually lead up to the grand finals in November with a prize pool of SEK 550,000 (about $82,000!). The prize pool for this particular event is SEK 150,000, or about $22,000.

DreamHack has also paired up with Twitch.tv in order to stream the entire tournament in high definition for free. They could have easily pulled an MLG and started charging viewers for the HD stream, but I think more people will be happy with the free HD route. If you want to tune in this weekend, be sure to check out the official DreamHack stream!

I have previously written for AbleGamers.com and continue to support them whenever possible (like HumbleBundle).
