Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen looks like you’d expect on PS4 and Xbox One

Should’ve called this the ‘masterwork’ edition

Whenever the Dragon’s Dogma name comes up, I start picturing the game’s ridiculous(ly good and goofy) climbing mechanic that lets you latch onto monsters like it’s no big deal. Gosh I wish more games adopted something similar. Enough rambling, though! There’s new footage of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One fresh off Capcom’s Japanese YouTube channel.

Japan is getting the re-release on October 5, and we shouldn’t have to wait much longer after that.

Some of you have undoubtedly had enough Dragon’s Dogma by now and are sitting back until Capcom does a sequel, but for me, the PS4 and Xbox One versions are a chance to play Dark Arisen and actually dig in this time. I suspect I’ll download this touched-up release eventually. $30 isn’t too bad.
