Dragon Quest gallery on 52nd story of Tokyo high-rise

Mori Tower in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo is one of the most expensive bits of real estate in the world. It’s a posh and beautiful area set in one of the world’s largest cities, in its financial heart. Square Enix is moving on up in the world! They plan to set up a Dragon Quest Gallery later this year on the 52nd floor of Mori Tower, in the Mori Art Center Gallery.

This gallery will be open from October 8 through December 4, says the official site. Attractions include an “adventure corner” where you’ll select a job and travel around the gallery with an adventurer’s book in hand. Also expect to see design materials including work from character designer Akira Toriyama, spec notes from series creator Yuji Horii, and sheet music from series composer Koichi Sugiyama. Best of all, Square Enix will also open a special version of Luida’s Bar, a cafe that’s themed around a location from the franchise, says Andriasang.

I’ve been up to the top of this tower before. The views are amazing already, even without the holy DQ artifacts in place. I’ll definitely go check this out when it opens.
