Dragon Ball FighterZ is still getting DLC, Gogeta arrives next week

September 26

Fusions are easily my favorite part of Dragon Ball Z. Even when they got wacky by adding both earrings and fusion dances into the mix, I was all over it. Thankfully, Dragon Ball FighterZ is welcoming yet another fusion character into the mix.

Although interest has waned for Dragon Ball FighterZ (it went from the number one game at EVO 2018 to the seventh most entered in 2019), Arc System Works and Bandai are still putting out DLC for it, with the next wave set to arrive on September 26 (as revealed by V-Jump magazine). It’s none other than SSGSS (Super Saiyan Blue/Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan) Gogeta, which is one of the fusion forms of Goku and Vegeta (the other, possibly my most beloved character, is Vegito).

Not one to really follow the winds of the pro scene completely, I still boot up Dragon Ball FighterZ for some lab sessions and fun with friends. Hell, you could really say the same for any Arc System Works fighter that comes across my desk.
