Japanese arcade indie shooters make western debut on PC
Japanese indie shmup trilogy The Tale of Alltynex has touched down on PC. Developed by doujinsoft circle Siter Skain, the trio of arcade shooters is making its western debut thanks to the localization team at Nyu Media.
Comrpised of Kamui, RefleX, and Alltynex Second, the series is inspired by Taito’s RayStorm games and dates as far back as 1998. The story centers on a scientist forced to transfer his daughter’s consciousness into a military aircraft. Unable to cope with the loss of his child, he does what any good father would do and resolves to destroy humanity. In a strange twist of fate, it’s up to his little girl-turned-spaceship to stop her maniacal father and save the day.
The shooters can be purchased here for $7.99 apiece or as package for $19.99.
