Rip and tear, wait and save
The unthinkable happened in 2016: Bethesda made a good Doom game. Like, a really good one. Like, an honest-to-god contender for game of the year good one. If you haven’t played it yet, now’s your chance to get it on the cheap.
Amazon has dropped its price for Doom down to $19.99, a significant discount considering that it released a mere three months ago. This seems to be a direct response to GameStop offering the same sale this week. It’s worth noting that this deal is only for the PS4 and Xbox One versions.
While PC is left out, there’s still a good sale on the collector’s edition for all platforms — that’s the one that comes with the statue of the Revenant. Each of those prices is hovering in the $45 to $50 range.
If you’ve been holding out on Doom, this seems like the time to pull the trigger. This is quite the reasonable price to get one of the best FPS campaigns in recent memory.
