Domino Master and Feeding Frenzy 2 on XBLA this Wednesday

What, did you think we weren’t going to tell you what’s coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade this week? Nah, it’s just that the carrier pigeon who normally delivers the news sort of, well … he died. On his last day of work before retirement, no less.

The details are sketchy at this point, and how we found out Feeding Frenzy 2: Shipwreck Showdown (800 Microsoft Points), Domino Master (800 MS Points), and Ticket to Ride – 1910 (400 MS Points) are this week’s releases, I can’t say. But what I will tell you, is this: Cher Ami the 5th will not soon be forgotten.

If someone handed me a box of dominoes, I’d most likely start building little houses and towers, since I know little about the inner workings and rules of the game. Yeah, I’m probably not the target audience for Domino Master.

I own the original Feeding Frenzy, and as far as casual, relaxed games go, it’s not half bad. This sequel includes new fish, 60 levels, 4-person campaign co-op, and a playable shark character. Wonderful. Why they felt Feeding Frenzy 2 wasn’t good enough alone and added “Shipwreck Showdown” into the mix, however, is beyond me.

Lastly, let’s not forget about Ticket to Ride – 1910. It’s an expansion pack for TtR that entails 35 new destination tickets and the GlobeTrotter card — whatever the heck that means.
