Doggie! Bandai’s Rush toy comes with a Mega Man figurine

Bandai’s Tamashii Nation brand has brought many popular properties to life in high-quality action figure form. Perhaps most notable is the D-Arts Mega Man X line, which has been selling pretty well even here in the States. Next up, Bandai is planning to go back to the series’ roots.

Here is a prototype for D-Arts Mega Man, along with the ever-faithful Rush and an adorable enemy Met. It may seem a bit redundant to make available a new Mega Man figure, considering that toy maker Kotobukiya has already done Classic Mega Man. On the upside, the Kotobukiya model has to be assembled, whereas the D-Arts one is good to rock right out of the box.

D-Arts Mega Man will arrive in Japan in December for ¥3780 (about $48). I have no doubt that it will find its way out West just like all the others.
