Does Manor Lords Have Console Commands?

No harm having console commands in single player game?

If you have opened the Steam Store recently,  you have certainly been inundated with ads for the release of Manor Lords, one of the most wishlisted games on Steam. Manor Lords is a city-builder simulation game set in the Medieval period, featuring a vast map and various types of resources that allow players to plan their cities accordingly.

However, players are already looking for console commands. This is because simulation games sometimes require a significant time investment and can occasionally become tedious for some players. Console commands enable players to easily adjust the pace or access additional resources in the game, which can add an element of fun for some players.

Are Console Commands available in Manor Lords?

The short and simple answer is no, Manor Lords does not have console commands, and the developers have not announced that any are coming.

The closest you can come to changing something in Manor Lords is when you start the game. The Game Setup menu will help you to choose how you want to play the game, allowing you to adjust your:

  • End Goal
  • AI Opponents
  • Off map adversary
  • AI aggressiveness
  • Raider frequency
  • Raider free years
  • Initial Bandit Camps
  • Random bandit camp spawn limit
  • Starting season
  • Starting supplies
  • Armament Delivery
  • Residential requirements
  • Approvals
  • Well placement
  • Weather events

These settings cannot be changed mid-game during the early access of the game. Therefore, you need to make sure you choose the correct settings.

If you are still determining what setting to choose, the game has three scenario template settings that can be selected in the Game Setup menu. Here are the three scenario template settings and what each of them means:

  • Rise to prosperity: In this game mode, you just need to focus on building and fulfilling the requirements of the citizens without worrying about combat. You can continue playing in the endless mode once you reach the ‘Large Town’ settlement level.
  • Restoring the peace: This is the default game mode, which every player should play to experience the Manor Lords gameplay. This will allow players to not only focus on the building aspect of the game but also require a strategy for acquiring the neighboring regions.
  • On the edge: This is the hardcore mode of the game. I recommend playing this scenario if you are familiar with the game mechanics, and Restoring the peach scenario was too easy for your liking. To complete the scenario, you need to reach the ‘Large Town’ settlement level.
