Yes, Virginia, it’s definitely the season of giving. Time to step back, count your blessings, and offer your aid to those in need. Sounds fair, right?

Retro game site Racketboy is holding its 2011 Charity Auction with all proceeds going to the Alzheimer’s Association. Over on this GameGavel page, you can bid on a ton of games and game-related paraphernalia that have all been donated by members of the Racketboy forums. Available goodies include T-shirts, a Dreamcast, all four Dragon Quest Famicom games, a modded frontlit Neo Geo Pocket Color, reproduction carts of Secret of Mana 2 (Seiken Densetsu 3) and Terranigma that can be played on US systems, and plenty more.

The auctions will begin closing before midnight on Sunday, December 18, so get a move on if anything catches your eye. You’ll be helping a good cause as well as scoring some great loot. Win-win!
