Dj CUTMAN makes ladies wet with newest games remix album

Recommended Videos

Two months ago, Dj CUTMAN collaborated with SPAMTROM on Bagu and the Riverman, a chip-tastic collection of Zelda II arrangments. CUTMAN then moved on to produce GameChops Vol. 2, a grand remix album that spreads the love beyond a single game and out towards various titles across the eras.

GameChops Vol. 1 was released almost a full year prior to this latest project. As with the original, Vol. 2 takes source game tunes, dices them up, and presents a spread that is a little bit electronica and a little bit hip-hop instrumental. Here, we have representation from classics like F-Zero, EarthBound, Sonic & Knuckles, Majora’s Mask, and a whole bunch more. Even Cave Story has joined the party!

The 21-song album is available on CUTMAN’s Bandcamp page for $5. That’s chump change for an amazingly fresh spin on notable game jams! Also, after the break — in the interest of flooding Destructoid with excessive Mega Man juice — I’ve embedded the track “100000strong,” a take on “Flutter VS Gesellschaft” from Mega Man Legends.
