Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia delayed

Did you know this existed?

Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia kind of came out of left field, and is yet another of Square Enix’s many spinoffs for their existing properties (this is a spinoff of a fighting game spinoff franchise!). If you aren’t aware of it yet it’s a mobile JRPG set in the same world as Dissidia for mobile devices, and it hasn’t even been confirmed for an international release yet.

That’s just as well, as the game was delayed in Japan into 2017 for bug fixing — one of the greatest reasons to delay a game so it doesn’t end up broken in the hands of paying customers (whether it’s a premium purchase or investment in microtransactions).

I don’t know what to make of this project, as I kind of just want to finish XV before I get any other Final Fantasy fix. The wait has been unbearable!
