Disney Dreamlight Valley is constantly evolving and growing, thanks to regular updates from Gameloft, and roadmaps can give us a hint as to what’s coming. Although we’re partly into 2025, we can still get an idea of what’s to come from the latest one, so let’s take a look.
Disney Dreamlight Valley 2025 Roadmap highlights and features
Tales of Agrabah – February 26
Tales of Agrabah was the first major content update to launch in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Originally released on February 26, it introduced Jasmine and Aladdin in their own realm, the Oasis Retreat Star Path event, and quality-of-life improvements like a cooking recipe search bar.
Shortly after, the limited-time Lucky You event launched on March 10, just two weeks after Tales of Agrabah surfaced. During this time, we gathered special three-leaf and four-leaf clovers to craft special-themed furniture for our villages.
The Cheshire Cats from the Land of Wonder – Spring 2025
Next up is the appearance of the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. At least, that’s what the promotional image for 2025’s second update suggests. While it’s unknown whether the Cheshire Cat will arrive alongside other characters or within an Alice in Wonderland-themed realm, he’s expected to appear sometime in Spring 2025. We’ll also likely get a brand-new Star Path to complete, but its theme and whether it’ll relate to the Cheshire Cat is unknown at the time of writing.
Skull Rock’s story continues – Summer 2025
Next, we continue storylines within Dreamlight Valley by investigating Skull Rock, a mysterious structure east of Dazzle Beach. An equally mysterious red feather also exists, but there are no further clues as to where it originates. Judging by its appearance, Peter Pan is the most likely candidate to join us in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This update will arrive sometime in Summer 2025.
In previous updates, we haven’t spent much time exploring Skull Rock, aside from briefly visiting it during the A Skull Rock and a Hard Place quest. However, it isn’t typically a focal point for any storylines, but that’ll change soon once this update arrives.
The Unwritten Realms – Summer 2025
Alongside the Summer 2025 Skull Rock update, we’re also getting the second part of The Storybook Vale’s storyline, The Unwritten Realms. Here, we’ll revisit Maleficent and uncover the rest of this world’s secrets, including Aurora’s whereabouts and how Hades and the Lorekeeper plan to get involved. This content will only be available to anyone who owns the Storybook Vale expansion pack, with the Skull Rock storyline releasing for everyone.
