Disney Dreamlight Valley February 28 update adds the The Partners Statue, character customisation options and more

Laugh it up in the Valley

Gameloft are back with another update to Disney’s Dreamlight Valley and as always, there’s an exciting list of new features and tweaks to look forward to. The Laugh Floor Update is now live, so let’s see what’s waiting for us in game. 

Recommended Videos

New content

  • A new Realm door opens, allowing players to clock into a shift on the Laugh Floor alongside Mike and Sulley in order to convince them to come to the Valley.
  • The new Lovely Monster Star Path, filled with items which are “equal parts sweet and monstrous”.
  • All new weekly DreamSnaps challenges.

New items

  • The Partners Statue and the Dreamlight Armor will be available in all players’ Mailboxes immediately following the update.
  • Scrooge McDuck’s store has been expanded to offer more items every day, including the reintroduction of purchasable doors.
  • Belle gets her very own Dream Style and a House Style ‘fit for her sensibilities’, along with some Pajamas and a Starlight Projector, among other things.
  • New items, as well as previous Star Path favorites, are coming to the Premium Shop for a limited time.

More customisation 

  • Players can now ‘live monstrously’ with a whole new variety of ways to customise their avatars, including new skin tones, contact lenses and new styles of ears. 
  • Players can now change their avatar’s name from within the game Settings. 

Bug fixes

  • Multiple quests have been fixed to enable completion:
    • “The Wild Tangles Swarm”
    • “The Missing Prince”
    • “Flying Metal Nuisance”
    • “The Seed of Memories”
    • “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Oops”
    • “Restoring the Sunstone”
    • Something Comes A’Knocking”
    • “The Heart of Dreamlight Valley”
    • “The Great Blizzard”
    • “When Things Go Boom”
    • “The Tower”
    • “The Forgotten Project”
    • “The Ceremony”
  • Wall-E’s garden will no longer disappear for some players.
  • Players should now be able to claim DreamSnaps rewards.
  • Items should now not only be placed on applicable furniture, but also stay there.
