Disciples III: Resurrection officially announced

Recommended Videos

We have already seen a trailer for this a few months ago, but Kalypso has now officially announced the newest expansion for Disciples III, which is due out on PC in January 2012. The company has also released 12 new screenshots for you to take a gander at.

Disciples III is a combination of a turn-based strategy game, and a tactical RPG. It’s made by Russian studio Akella, the guys who localize games like Metro 2033 and Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. It’s one of those games that when you see it you really want to play, but you never actually find the time. I played the tutorial about a year ago, but I never made it farther than that. I even have a poster for it up on my wall.

Resurrection adds a brand spanking new campaign that’s over 70 hours long, you get to play as the undead, and there are around 50 new units. With such a long wait until January, we should have plenty of time to play the original game.
