It’s crazy to think DiRT: Showdown is finally almost here. Wait, didn’t DiRT 3 just come out? The “Complete Edition” of it just came out last month as well. Wow, Codemasters are not wasting any time these days. DiRT Showdown is a brand-new standalone title, and it’s releasing May 29th (my birthday!). To celebrate the game releasing on my day, Codemasters released a trailer and it has cars racing. Just what I’ve always wanted!
Also, you can expect a demo May 1st, but to gain access to it you have to download RaceNet, which is the Halo Waypoint of Codemasters’ racing games. Now we just need a stat hub for Skyrim and we’re set. Anyway, Walmart will have the “Hoonigan Edition” as an exclusive pre-order. That will get you extra in-game cash, online XP multiplier, and alternative skins for six cars. You do like extra content, right?
You know, I was planning on getting around to trying out DiRT 3, but why do that when Showdown is right around the corner?
