Mario Tennis Aces is getting a new cast member next month in Diddy Kong, but there’s a bit of a proviso with his involvement.
Basically, Nintendo is using him as a way to promote the online tournament mode next month. As such anyone who plays the gametype anytime from September 1 through September 30 will gain access to him. After that period he’ll be unlocked for everyone. It’s not all that complicated, sure, but I’m guessing someone will download the patch, log in, and ask where the hell Diddy is.
