Bethesda games often have interesting development cycles, and that goes double for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Did You Know Gaming gives us a great look at Oblivion‘s various struggles and triumphs, including a reminder of the PSP spinoff that never came to fruition, and peppers in a few Easter eggs for good measure.

In all seriousness “worst Elder Scrolls game” is still high praise, but I just couldn’t fully get behind Oblivion even at launch after following up the fantastic Morrowind. It wasn’t until Skyrim that I really felt Bethesda’s “next-gen” open world push. Also yes I have played Arena and Daggerfall, and no ESO isn’t a proper series entry!
