A job listing reveals that DICE is currently working on bringing Mac OS X compatibility to its Frostbite game engine.

The listing calls for a “Mac OS X Engineer” who will help the Frostbite team deliver” an engine as great on OS X as it is on Windows and traditional console platforms.” Last week, we learned that publisher Electronic Arts is working on bringing its Origin service to Apple’s platform, with an Alpha version already released. The upcoming SimCity will see a release on Mac as well, proving EA’s determination to delve into a new market.

The Frostbite Engine powers many of EA’s high-profiled games, including the Battlefield series, the upcoming Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel, and the free-to-play Command & Conquer.
