Though Diablo III has had a few ups and downs, its publisher is now sitting pretty. During Activision’s recent financial call to investors, Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime laid out the financial success that this action-RPG title has had across all released platforms.

“We’re pleased with the response to the game’s launch on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360,” Morhaime said. “Lifetime sell through of the game across all platforms has reached over 14 million copies, and reviews have been very positive about how the game plays on consoles.”

With an expansion on the way, and continued updates on PC and consoles, it looks like the Diablo series will be a firm fixture in Activision Blizzard’s future.
