Diablo III celebrates its one-year anniversary

Magic Find and Experience are increased

Well, it’s been a series of ups and downs (that could have all been avoided if the Auction House was taken down), but Diablo III is now one year old. To celebrate, Blizzard is adding 25 percent extra Magic Find and experience points until May 21. Evidently this will stack with the maximum 300% hard cap.

While I haven’t played the PC game regularly, for a while, I’m just happy that the Auction House will be out of the PS3 version entirely. I hope if Blizzard ever gets to release an expansion on the PC, that it can see the error of its ways and just abolish it altogether. It was a neat idea at first to fight second-hand eBay sales, but it quickly spiraled into a mess of economic crushing DRM nonsense.
