Devil May Cry live performance taking place at The Game Awards

Nero and Co. to rock the night

We are merely days away from The Game Awards 2018, which will take place this Friday at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. No doubt it will be an evening of drama, surprise and perhaps disappointment for many, but one thing we can be assured of is the opportunity to rock out with your cock out.

As announced by host Geoff Keighley on Twitter, Capcom’s Devil May Cry crew will be in attendance for a special “live performance”. Quite what said performance entails remains to be seen, but the smart money is on Team DmC blowing up the stage with “Devil Trigger” the dramatic theme song to the highly-anticipated Devil May Cry 5. Well, either that or perhaps some vaudeville comedy stylings from protagonists Nero and Nico. I’d prefer the latter, but I never get what I want.

If you want to check out The Game Awards, then the show goes live Thursday, December 6 at 17:30 PT / 20:30 ET. For Euro fans, that’s Friday morning at about 02:30. Of course we’ll be covering any exciting news and tidbits coming out of the show here at Destructoid.
