DEVIL KINGS RICE!

I just wanted to see what that headline would look like. It looks all sorts of terrible.

Nevertheless, it is a very functional headline, because that is exactly what we’re talking about. Capcom’s Devil Kings (Sengoku Basara in Japan) has crossed the line from neat promotional item to completely insane product by bringing out its own brand of rice. Yes, the franchise has slapped its name on a foodstuff almost as bland as the original game was.

Our millions of Japanese readers can get their hands on the Devil Kings Rice from May 22 for the low price of 1,000 Yen. It will feature one of two characters on the packet, either Date Masamune or Kojuurou Katakura. It’s not been confirmed whether or not the rice will actually taste like these historical figures, although I imagine that skellington-flavored rice isn’t very nice.
