Details and concept art for Prey 2 surface

Ah, Prey. I remember hyping myself up for it, big time. After everything was said and done, I still enjoyed what the game had presented me with, despite its shortcomings. Sure, the little afterlife mini-game was cool at first, but it made Prey far too forgiving in the long run.

We’ve known a sequel to Prey was likely going to reveal itself at some point, and it looks as though that time has come. Shacknews has gotten a hold of a few tidbits about Prey 2, including the terribly small concept art below and a brief description of the game’s plot:

“This time, abandoned and framed for the disappearance of his family, Tommy escapes an Earth that no longer wants him for a future that cannot survive without him.”

I can only hope that the memorable aspects of Prey (walkable walls, gaping wall vaginas) make an appearance in the sequel, while the minor issues that plauged the original are addressed as well.
