Can you guess the song choice?
Class-based multiplayer game Ace of Spades has landed on Steam today, and accompanying its arrival is the obligatory launch trailer with the only appropriate song Jagex could have used. Motörhead might be the obvious selection, but props for seeing the licensing through.
Originally, I had expected this game to go the free-to-play route, though that is not actually the case. At $9.99, Ace of Spades does appear to check off the right boxes with a zombie survival mode, a mode which encourages base destruction instead of outright kill counts, and more.
These types of games — even the admittedly rather bad ones — seem to be very popular as of late. (Have you been to the Xbox Live Indie Games channel?) We have a full review in the works, so be on the lookout for that in the next week or two.
