THQ Nordic continue to announce fresh wares this week, with the news that cataclysmic 2005 adventure Destroy All Humans! is being remade for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. The remake is being handled by Black Forest Games.

Set in the heyday of 1950’s Americana, Destroy All Humans! puts the player in control of a single alien, Cryptosporidium 137, as they run amok on planet Earth as the spearhead of a global invasion by their race, the Furons. Crypto’s task is to harvest Furon DNA, embedded within the Earth’s populace. A fun trailer has also been released, (courtesy of IGN), featuring the music of German metallers Rammstein.

On release, Destroy All Humans! received praise from critics and the gaming community for its wry sense of humour, ’50s B-movie aesthetic and wholesome appetite for destruction. As with the recently revealed SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated, Destroy All Humans! will include new content that was cut from the original release.

Destroy All Humans! will arrive on planet Earth in 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
